Sincere condolences to the Duffy clan. I worked with John in Aquaporte for 5 years in the 90s and he was a pleasure to be in business with. If you were lucky enough to be asked to join the 10.00am Milltown crew on a Saturday in the 'ol days, you relished a very competitive golf game with John, Denis ( O'Grady) and/or Peter (Maughan) followed by lunch with two frames of Snooker, and that followed by three of four games of excellent standard rubber Bridge.. I always enjoyed, good memories, thank you John. RIP.

Very sorry to learn of the death of my uncle John. Sincere sympathy to all my cousins; thinking of you all at this sad time. Happy memories of a decent, vibrant, ever-active, fun uncle who was always very kind to me. A joke or witty word play was never far away, with his smile of mischief, at the Duffy clan meeting in Malahide on St Stephen's Night. The Duffys from which he came were such a close-knit family, from Navan to Rathmines, and uncle John had a good, long life, well-lived and I hope the happy times of a much loved dad, grandfather and great-grandfather will sustain you all in the time ahead. I'm living abroad at the moment and very much regret I won't be able to attend the funeral, but will be thinking of all my cousins.
Dear Phil and family. My condolences on the death of your father. May he rest in peace.
