Deepest condolences to Johns family on his sad passing one of life's true gentleman.I remember when I was starting out with my apprenticeship all those years ago he dropped down to the house and gave me a few pointers for the interview i had coming up and afterwards through the years anytime id meet him hed always ask how i was getting on.May John RIP 🙏

I was very sorry to hear of John's death, my sincere condolences to Ann & his girls, to the Bonner & Coyle families and to all his extended family & friends, may John's gentle soul Rest in Peace. John always a smile for everyone.

I'm so saddened to hear of John's passing. Deepest condolences to his wife Ann and his daughters Caitlín, Treasa & Róisín and indeed his wider family circle. He was a thorough gentleman. Another of Ireland's great unsung heroes. My late husband Séamus and I are indebted to him for the help and assistance he provided us in the late 1970s.
