Brid & Eithne, so sad to hear about Jackie’s passing. I haven’t seen him for quite a few years so it was quite a shock. My memories of Jackie were of someone who was always smiling and full of life, a truly nice person. I’m sure he will be greatly missed.

Dear Brid and family, We saw Jackie in the pro shop the week before his passing and we discussed going cycling so were shocked and saddened when we heard the news. Jackie was a lovely man, always full of fun and action, I had my work cut out trying to keep up with him on the bike. Losing someone so loved is the most difficult thing we have to go through and our love and thoughts are with you in this ongoing difficult time. Lots of love Nikki and Martin xx

We thoroughly enjoyed Jackie’s generous hospitality and bonhomie on our visit to his home club. His wit and cheery optimism when we played with him two weeks ago is testament to his unfailing strength of character and he will be greatly missed by his host of friends and admirers.
