I remember John when he was young with his long silky black hair and his rocker gear, and the house shaking to the rythme of his favourite tunes ! He was larger than life, we'll miss him dearly. His life though far too short certainly seems to have been a happy one, but I had no idea when we last spoke (at his mother Marie's funeral) that it would be the last time. May he rest in peace.

Our deepest condolences to Bridie, Pam and family. It was such a shock to hear of John's passing. Most of our memories are childhood memories of when we used to visit as children. John was always mischeivous when he was a little boy and I have no doubt he still was in later life. We last met at Aunt Angela's funeral and even though a sad occasion he made us laugh. I first met John many, many years ago when he used to come and meet Bridie at our house. Bridie's parents didn't approve of John at first. At the time John had long black hair and a beard. He looked like a rock star. But they soon came to love this tall, gentle young man and they got married. They found their camelot on a hill in Rathbran with stunning panoramic views. The perfect place to raise children. John was a great husband and father, full of fun and mischief. He had time for every child, including my daughter and later on, our grandchildren when we visited. In many ways he really was a rock star. It is with great sadness that Mike and I learn of John's passing. Our heartfelt condolences to Bridie, his children and all his family and friends. Worked with John in Eiratech for a number of years and a nicer gentleman you could not meet. Very sad to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family.
John loved his rock music and used to have it blaring on the factory floor.. I am sure he is still rockin it in the great theater in the sky.
