We offer our deep Sympathy to Dorothy (who he fondly called "Dot")
Steve & Zoe. His brother Michael & Cousin Monica & his many friends.
John will be sincerely missed here at the Junction Bar. Him & Susan were firm family friends since their arrival from London about 50 years ago.
Susan worked in the Bons Tralee while John was a renowned electrician.
Eventually Susan worked here with us until her untimely death in 2018.
John missed her dearly but continued to travel especially to their beloved Croatia & to many other destinations.
During his recent cancer journey he remained positive, upbeat & witty & often dropped in to the bar to research his next trip & said his little sun holidays did him the world of good between his hospital treatments. On these visits he always enquired about our family's lives & travels & he genuinely cared.
He loved motorbikes & his biker friends. He loved South Kerry as his Dad hailed from Renard. He loved music & had a soft spot for Les Misèrables and it's song; "Bring him home".
That God may bring him home to his final destination to rest eternally with his Beloved Susan.
We will always remember ye with love & fondness. Slàn xx

I loved to hear all about his travels, he surely enjoyed meeting people and made many new friends on his adventures... we will all miss him... I have been minding his beloved cat Sooty for several years as he went on his travel adventures. I always enjoyed our chats and I will miss John very much as I was so fond of him.

Sooty will now join my own family and will be treasured for ever more.
