Jill and Paula, John was a thoroughly decent, honest, kind, generous, thoughtful and gentle person. John’s impact on my life was enormously positive and he was and shall always remain hugely influential to me from the very first day I met him. He was an absolutely unique man. I shall miss him more than I can say and I shall never forget him.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of John.John will be remembered by the DREGS golfing Society whom john sponsored generously and enjoyed his game of golf John and Nel always supported the dinner dances organised by the Association of Executive Engineers (ASEE).John had a pleasant and easy going personalty and was well liked by all who knew him .

Jill - We were very sorry to hear the news of your dad’s death. Both your parents were great fun and we have great memories of meeting them for a Christmas drink in The Old Stand.
