Our deepest sympathy to the family at this very sad time. As a principal of St. Francis Xavier’s, John was an inspiration to many young children who were so very lucky to have Mr Fleming as our local school principal. He will be remembered as a kind spirited and a true gentleman to all within our community. He was a great school team football manager and a true club man. John has inspired so many children to take up and be part of the local GAA community. He left a profound impact on so many of the children who have passed through SFX over the many years. Wonderful memories to have.

My deepest condolences to The Fleming family on the passing of John. He was my school principal during my years in SFX senior school but it was in more recent years I got to know him better! He was always a man that had so much time for everyone, a real community man. He will be sadly missed! May he rest in peace.
