I have fond memories of John when doing summer holiday work in the office of Mick Hayes and Colm Flynn Vets Practice back in the late 60s.
Seanie Lonergan was also part of the team. The craic at times was better than any pantomime. John was always involved and was very humorous.
I was also friends with John when he was the Projectionist in The Capitol Cinema (long since closed) where the spools were occasionally shown out of sequence, which made viewing an interesting experience. John was held in such high esteem by the patrons that the situation would be solved with a bit of humour.
John was a keen soccer player with no shortage of skill and possessed a great turn of foot when playing for THE PARK.

We served in the congregation several years ago. I will never forget the loving kindness and caring with John Fogerty and his wife and family. We are so grateful to have known them. I know John will be sorely missed. May he sleep in peace and look forward to a wonderful day ahead.

John was a very kind and gracious man. My dad enjoyed the times they spent together telling stories and jokes when he visited California. After my mom passed, John would call my dad and brighten his day.

John was such a great man and the countless hours spent in his living room with him and Maura and the family will always be treasured by me. We always had good fun but John was such an example, he never complained and was a pillar of strength in the congregation. He won't know himself when Jesus calls him back to perfect health in the resurrection and I can't wait to see them both reunited in health and happiness.
