My belated condolences to Mary, Philip and all the Fox family

I am deeply distressed on hearing of Johns passing. I saw it in the Connacht Tribune over the weekend. My heart felt condolances to his wife and young family and to Nora.
Both John and Nora were very kind to me when I worked in Moycullen Post Office some years ago, getting me the odd coffee and a scone when I had hadn't the time to go and get it myself. We always had great old chats about football and hurling and any sporting news of the week.

Johns passing brings it to the core that we are all only "passing through this world" and leaving it a better place should be a priority for future generations and those young sports people that John helped to shape during his time with them.

Rest in peace John and thanks for all the coffee.

Margaret, I just saw John's Acknowledgement in the Galway Advertiser and got such a shock. I had no idea that he had passed away. You and all the family must be beyond heartbroken. I remember when we worked together in McCambridge's and ye were going out and the fun we had at your wedding. What a gorgeous couple you made. My thoughts are with you and with your children at this awful time. May John rest in peace.
