Sean had a very infectious smile and was always full of energy. He had the capacity to listen unconditionally and was always willing to help. He had a rare quality of making individuals feel good about themselves. I used to look forward to going to Ward 21, Solihull hospital, just to see Sean. My deepest condolences to his family and pray that his soul rests in peace.
Affectionately known as Uncle Jack you always had a story to tell, be it from your early years growing up in Boyle, being a young man living in England or your trips to Lourdes. The lasting memories will always be ones of humour, your smile, your laugh and your Irish craic.
Your personality and heart was larger than life and you touched so many. Now it’s time God rewards you for all the love your poured onto others.
As my sister has said, thank you for teaching us to find and share love even through the difficult passages in life. You will be sadly missed to all.
Rest in peace Uncle Jack from your loving nephew Derek

Sincere condolences to family and friends. Sean was such a lovely man, he gave so much of his life to caring for others on his journey. May he now rest in peace.
Always the raconteur, your wild stories, sharp wit and twinkling eye made you great company. You were a lesson to us all that even from hard and dark times, we can find it in our hearts to bring light and love to other people's lives. Rest in peace, Uncle Jack. xoxo
Uncle Sean, you had a big heart with a big personality to match. You were both charming and good humoured. I can still hear your Irish accent in my head; long may it remain there. I will remember you being the most magnificent host when I visited you one evening a few years back.
Thank you for enlightening and educating me on how difficult your childhood was in Ireland which helped to explain many questions about my mother.
RIP Uncle from your loving nephew Graham

Jackie was known to us all here in Solihull as Sean and how we all loved him - he was such great craic and had the very best Irish sayings. He used to always say to us if we took a good photo ‘ that will make a great memorial card photo’ 😃
We all miss you Sean. God Bless and sleep well. Love to all his family in Boyle who he told us so much about. X
