R. I. P JOHN Dear friend knew ages be missed now from good stewarts balgaddy Friend Fergal take care.
We are all so saddened of the sudden passing of our dear friend John. We will miss the crack and banter in the club. John has gone to join the many of our dear friends gone before him, and has left us with lots of great memories. Condolences to all of John's family. Rest in Peace John. "Sealed with a kiss".
The sudden passing of John has left a big void in all our lives. A beautiful service to celebrate John's life and lot's of memories shared. He will be remembered every day be it in a song we hear , our phone text bleeping early in the morning and the birds singing. John touched every ones life in some form or other. "The peoples champion" To the Preacher. Rest in Peace John. Condolences to all John's family and friends.
Just home from saying our last goodbyes, didn't seem real at all. Keep expecting a text of "hey baby, how long are we in love". I've only known John a few years from the arch club, but John you have made a huge impact on me. Such a big character, from your endless singing, slagging, banter and allowing me to beat you at pool, calling me out on my questionable boots and the day I removed a swan from the road outside your home.... You didn't show up on the Tuesday morning to meet me for our usual breakfast and my heart sank when I heard the news. So I've decided we will take a rain check on the brekky and endless arguments we would have, ending in me winning and you throwing me your best smile. To the best sparring partner I will ever know. See you soon sweet cheeks. x
To all John's family my sincere sympathies on John's passing. I so enjoyed the bantercwith him when he visited Kilkenny. A most lovely man.
Deepest sympathy's to the Freer Family, John will be missed by all who knew him.

RIP John.
My sincere sympathy to John' s family and friends on his sudden death. I was brought into John's Circle of Friends through Fr. Joe, some years ago, and what a joy it was ! We hosted a few birthday parties here in our house in Blanchardstown (Presentation Sisters) and shared some other celebrations in Rowlagh.- and what great nights they were. I only regret that John's plans to launch our new group "The Young Purple Hearts" never happened. I was always impressed by John's response , particularly during Covid ,when I would enquire how he was - always - "I'm grand Annie"!! John , may you be at rest and peace in God's love.

Sincere sympathies to you Mark, Geraldine, Marie and Joan, as well as to John's beloved nephews, nieces and numerous friends, on his untimely death.

I first got to know John while working with Fr. Joe in Rowlagh in 1992. I can remember the first time I met John in Fr. Joe's house, as clear as if it was yesterday. We clicked from the get go and the banter we had whenever Kerry and the Dubs were playing against each other in the intervening years was priceless.

It's still hard to believe that John is no longer physically with us. I will certainly miss our memorable chats on the phone, and the text every morning.

He was a true character, and so amiable, witty, transparent, genuine, caring. He was loved by so many people. He brought so much sunshine to our lives.

May John rest in Peace and may all who grieve him find some comfort in their warm memories of him.
Sincere sympathy to Mark and Linda, Rebecca and Luke and to Geraldine, Marie and Joan on the death of John. May he rest in peace.

I was so shocked and sorry to hear of the death of dear John any time I met him we always had a good laugh I send my condolences to John's family.may he rest in peace in Heaven.
Rip John. I knew John very well from 1996 right up to 2022. We use to have great laughs, he was always joking all the time, I remember saying to him once John do you believe in life after death and he said "Yeah when I die I'm going to the promise land" and he loved his music, I gave him many CDs with his favourite artists on them. And as I was writing this comment one of his favourite songs came on the Radio Van Morrison - Days Like This. His favourite lyrics in that song was "When it's nobody's business the way that you wanna live, I just have to remember there will be days like this".

John was always in contact with me over the years quite frequently and I'll definitely miss the laughs for sure! When I use to say how are you John, he would reply "It's Sir Freer to you" Great laughs!

I wish to offer my condolences to John's family. I will certainly keep you in my prayers.

Bye for now John keep an eye over us and send us a few laughs! Won't be the same now.

Your Good Friend Philip Galvin From Clondalkin.
