May I say how sad I was to hear of John's sudden death I was really shocked.
John ( Seán ) and I met at Irish classes in Howth some years ago and we continued at classes in KLEAR after that. John was a thorough gentleman and I know he will be sadly missed by all the family. I would like to also say that I will miss his soft smiling face also.
May his Body & Soul Rest in peace Amen .

Our family are devastated by the sudden loss of our dear friend John. Grangemore Rise will never be same, so many happy memories of John calling to our house to chat with my dad. He still got our names mixed up even after 40 years ! Rest in Peace John, you will be dearly missed by all x Marie, Sean, Deirdre, Maeve and Sinead x

I was so sad to hear of John's passing. He was always of a happy disposition. A great GAA man and will remember the Historical Society annual outings with fondness. You are in my thoughts and prayers are this very difficult time.

Kay, Gillian, Sean and Siobhan, we were shocked and saddened to hear of John's death. We knew him almost 49 years and we never saw him that he wasn't laughing or smiling. A true gentleman, he will be sadly missed. Rest in peace John. Lots of love Kay xx

In the short few years I knew John in the DMTC, I found him to be a warm , genuine gentleman. He was a good character to be around. It was with sadness that I learned of John's passing.

I like many others met john in the early 70's through our mutual love of motorcycles, he was a member of the Dublin Motorcycle Touring Club when it was formed in 1971, I have so many great memories of going to Scottish and Irish M/C Rallies with Kay and John.
John was loved and respected by all who knew him in the Motorcycle family.
We rode Motorcycles.. climbed mountains and cycled together as a group over many years and John was always great Craic.
In the last few years John and I manned the DMTC kitchen in Shankill and we always had great fun there.
John was Kind..Warm..Loyal..Honest..and respected by all who knew him.
The DMTC has lost a great man but John will live on in our memories forever.
RIP John.
