I am sad to hear of the death of John. He was part of my childhood in Terenure. Later he replaced the roof on my house. I remember his engagement and marriage. Rest in peace John.

Really sorry to see that my old buddy from the County Club days has left us. We had many a game of golf together and he was always good fun to be with. Sincere condolences to John's considerable family.

I watched the funeral on Saturday and it was lovely to behold John's amazing legacy of his family, all doing their bit to celebrate his life. I feel after Siobhan's amazing eulogy I learned so much more about John, and the wonderful life he lead.
