John Gibney

I was very sorry to hear of John’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years in the Westcourt Hotel and have many fond and funny memories from that time.

My sincere condolences to Rose and the Gibney family at this sad time. May he rest in eternal peace.

Rose I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing. I worked with him many years ago in Quinnsworth and we renewed our acquaintance in later years in the Westcourt Hotel.

It was always a pleasure going into work at 5am when you were greeted by John, he had everyone’s back in the hotel. He will be sorely missed Rest easy John, thinking of you all at this very sad time. I was deeply saddened to hear of John's passing.we shared so many wonderful memories growing up and I will always be greatful that he stood beside me as my best man on my wedding day.although life lead is down different path's and we hadn't seen much of each other in later years; there was never a cross word between us only friendship and respect. I'll always smile when I think of the great times we spent in joey Maher's bar and the cellar s. My thoughts are with his partner rose and Richard Mary and Bernadette. Safe onwards journey John you were a true gentleman and I was proud you were my friend.
