Dear John,
I will miss you so much - In London, at BAVA, during online conferences. Your twinkling eyes and compassionate smile, which lights up so many BAVA corridors - will be sorely missed. A kinship fraught in jyotiṣa, over the years, you are gone too soon. You have shown immense kindness to me during difficult times - which I will never forget. Nor our conversations. May your atma reach its parama gati. Hari Om

Sincere condolences to all John's family.May he rest in peace.
My poor words cannot convey the sadness I feel tonight, having heard of the passing yesterday of my good friend, John. I first met John at a Vedic astrology workshop in London some 20 years ago. We shared a passion for Jyotish, the Guinness, & the craic. We went on to spend many long hours over the internet analysing charts, discussing lectures from the London BAVA Conferences held each year, and laughing at the general madness of this world. I popped over to Dublin in 2016 to stay with John for a short while, and he also came to England on several occasions where he spoke at the Jyotish Conferences I run each autumn at the Leeds Theosophical Society. We also visited Paris in October 2022. He impressed me with his offer to throw a corrupt taxi driver into the Seine for trying to rip us off one evening. I was in regular contact with him during his period of ill health. He often talked about his family and the love he had for his grandchildren. I have lost a true friend, and the world has lost a great Jyotisha. My condolences to all his family. Rest in Peace, my dear friend John.
Dear Sinead and family. Our sincere condolences. Knew Hari for a while and he was a wonderful person. May his soul rest in peace. Seshni and family ..🙏❤️
Condolences to Claire & family on the loss of your Daddy, thinking of you all at this very tough time, all our love, Dyanne, Stephen, Seán Stephen & Robyn xxxxx
I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of John. I had the pleasure of meeting him when he came to stay with us for a few days, having been introduced through his dear friend Paul, whom I live with.

He left a lasting impression; such a charming and thought-provoking man, with a gentle temperament that made him instantly likeable. It was easy to see why Paul held him in such high regard.

Though I never met the rest of his family, please know that I am thinking of you all during this difficult time and send my heartfelt condolences for your loss.

My sincere condolences to all the family at this very sad time.

My dear friend John! What a great joy it was to be in your presence, and your sense of humour was exquisite. We met in London around 2000 at a BAVA conference (British Association for Vedic Astrology) and became very close buddies ever since. You studied with me on the Jaimini Scholar Program since 2008, in fact you were my first student, and we have had so many wonderful conversations, and so much laughter. You came over to my house in Carlisle for a weekend of study, together with Cathy Rose, and I also visited you and your mother in Dublin, during a trip to see the Indian saint Amma. What times we had! The memories are precious and you will always live on in my heart. God bless you and your family.

Dear Family

I've been blessed to meet John - known as Hari to me - in Guyarapà a few years ago. Since then there was a loving connection, even if we were not in touch.

When I was in Palestine I was asking for someone to join me to give a meditation course. And Hari immediately was ready and willing to join me. For me, it was an expression of his love and his dedication for service to others.

I've als met Sinéad a few times. Latest in Patmos with her wonderful family.

My feelings are with you all. And the knowing that we are all connected in the eternal Love. John was a beautiful flower on this tree of Love. I will remember his inner and outer beauty.

May all your family be blessed!

With Love,
Deepest condolences to Breffni and all the Hall family on the loss of your Dad John. May he Rest in Peace.
