At this lonely family time I know many memories are being relived of all your times shared together & this sad time too holds so many memories for me of your visits Maura along with Johnny to our Curran family home in Meath. Visits where all the Hanifin cousin & Kerry news, football and many other topics were happily discussed & enjoyed with my dear late Dad John Joe & with dear Mam Kathleen, who so fondly likes to reminisce about times past & her beloved Hanifin cousins. Mam's gentle prayers are with her very dear cousin Johnny & with you Maura, Sean & family at this sad time.

I worked with Sean on the staff of Scoil Aonghusa Junior for many years. A proud Kerryman, he was a great colleague, an excellent teacher and a thorough gentleman.
Sean had a great sense of humour and a fund of wonderful stories with which he often entertained us during lunch break!
He was also a wise man and often gave sound advice on many topics.

May I offer my sincere condolences to the Hanifin family on your sad loss. I knew John when I worked in Grange Golf Club in the 1990’s, he was a lovely gentle man who always had time for a chat.
He was also in teacher training with my father James Doyle, back in the day, and Dad always spoke so highly of him. May John now Rest in Peace. Thinking of you all.
