So sorry to hear of John's passing. I worked with John for 12 years in Dungarvan, a pure gentleman and great fun to be with. My condolences to all the family at this very sad time.

Today we were deeply saddened to read of the death of John. whom we met for the first time in Ardmore Co Waterford many decades ago. I began sharing the scripture's John who had shown great interest and over the months we had wonderful discussions. We lost contact for a while and then met John and Bernie at an assembly on the day of their baptism. What a joy it was to know John and his beloved wife Bernie along with his young family.

I had the pleasure of meeting his son Maurice in Lismore Rest Home. I realised quickly John had a great outlook in life. He often called in just to have a chat. I will always remember how he spoke about his family and how he was so connected to all. REST IN PEACE John
