So sorry to hear of John’s passing. We were great friends during our schooldays at Westland Row CBS. In later years we met occasionally in the Irish Life complex. Condolences.
I knew John from his time in Dublin County Council and South Dublin County Council over many years, and he was a thorough gentleman and kind man through all this time. My office was next to his in South Dublin and we shared many a time with each other. Sorry to hear that he is now gone, and that I did not know about it till yesterday. May he get his reward in Heaven, as he surely earned it for both his manner and his way of doing things professionally and courteously.
I wish to extend condolences to John’s family on behalf of all his colleagues and friends in CILT Ireland. John was very generous and caring individual who made a very significant contribution to the development of transport sector in Ireland. We will miss his insightful comments and expert advice. Rest in peace John.
I have just heard today of John's passing. A very professional engineer whose heart was always in the right place and who moved the agenda forward on transport matters for Dublin.
