John Higgins

We were so sorry to hear of Johns passing and sorry we missed his funeral. We knew John for years from our many trips to Merlin park furniture centre and he was always so helpful and up for the craic. His mother Mary whom we often met in the shop with him said he used to call us ‘the sisters from spiddal’ Our sincere condolences to his wife Caroline, his daughter Grace , his son Ruairi and all the Higgins family. Rest in peace John

He was a gentleman to deal with and always had time for the crack, the chat and the stories. We were delighted to meet him at the races in Listowel 2 years ago....he was in great form that day. I still have an octagonal mirror which my husband bought off him in 1985 when we moved to Doughiska & also other pieces over the years. May you find comfort in your memories.
