My sympathies to the Holohan family, at this difficult time. John was a true gentleman, a really nice man, loved having the chats with him about sport with a cup of tea and biscuits after band practice. When I joined the Thomas Francis Meagher Fife and Drum Band many years ago, he gave up alot of his time, to give me lessons on the drums and helped me settle into the band, which was very kind of him. Rest in Peace John, gone but never forgotten.
