John, I truly can't believe that you have passed over. Though I only knew you through our studies with St Angela's College, your words and insight always inspired me. You were the very definition of a gentleman and a scholar.

I would like to offer my condolences to John's family, friends and all who knew him.

We are So very sorry on the loss of your lovely dad absolutely shocked taken way to soon Rebekah Caitlin and Leah also thinking of your mom Karen during this difficult time I hope ye all have the strength to get through this together♥️ we are all thinking of you all. ♥️may he R.I.P. ♥️♥️ Jewel, Damien, Esme, Tress, Eoin, & Anthony sending thoughts and prayers to you all♥️

I was shocked and saddened to hear of John's death. As a colleague of his in Galway Simon Community I always enjoyed his laidback manner and his dry, gentle wit. It was a pleasure to have known him and worked with him. My sincerest sympathies to his family and friends.

Very sad to hear of John's passing. I spent many enjoyable days and nights working alongside John at Knockrea House where his warmth and kindness was appreciated by everyone who met him. Deepest sympathy to the whole family who caused his face to light up whenever he spoke about you. Rest in Peace John.

I am so shocked and upset to hear about the death of John. We had many lovely chats in the lane and he was such a lovely gentle man. He was so proud of all his children and their achievements, as was the topic of our last conversation over the summer. My deepest sympathy to you all, particularly Stig, Leah, Caitlin and Rebecca.
