It is with great sadness to learn of the passing of Johnny Larkin, Jack as he was affectionately known to all who knew him over his lifetime.Sincere and deepest sympathy to all of Jack’s family , his brothers and sisters , to the Larkin and extended Larkin and Duffy families, to his many friends and work colleagues, and to the communities of Castledaly and Fardrum which Jack loved so much. I have known Jack over my working lifetime, through his professional work and socially, and have always found Jack Larkin to be one of life’s true gentleman in every respect, honest to the core in every communication I have ever had with him, and both obliging and accommodating in every way possible. I have had many conversations with Jack over the years and he carried “his many crosses with great dignity and respect. When I would enquire on “how he was” , he would reply:- “ Things are tough out there , but we must keep going and do the best we can”, and he always did.
