Just heard that Jack has passed away.
He really loved my radio show and listened in nearly every week live or caught the podcasts....I never met him ;( and we did try a few times; but it just never happened.

Jack always sent me messages....giving his opinion on my guests...we had "the chat"...He suggested guests,.....and would be delighted if I followed them up...which I often did.

I will selfishly miss our many open and frank discussions on the state of play for us "humans"....and send love and condolences to all Jack's family and close friends.....
You are always alive in our memories Jack R.I.P.

Uncle John
We had great trips with Uncle John to various places. One of our last trips with John with my cousin Daniel Moss to Gortin Glen.... we was singing on the bends..."Stick with it Johnny johnny, stick with it Johnny johnny as uncle john took the bends in the Glen.... we even got him to stop at Mackles for ice cream. I will miss calling into Uncle John my best friend every day for ever. Rest in Peace Uncle John

Sincere condolences to the McGranaghan family. For me growing up in the old Butt Snooker Hall, Jack was a living legend. A supremely gifted player with a verocious talent but a true gentleman behind it all. I played with him on the Twin Towns A team as a young 16 year old and he taught me so much. I haven't seen him in years but he will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. An inspiration learning how to play snooker from him. Rest in peace Jack, you'll never be forgotten!!
