Simon and Sean my sincere condolences to both of you and your families with the passing of your dad. He was a kind and gentle soul that I will miss dearly. I will always cherish the memories of growing up together any any time we visited. We wish we could of said good-bye and tell him how much we missed seeing him and the rest of the family over the years. He's at peace now and will forever remain in our hearts.

Simon and Sean. Your father left an immense impact on everyone he met. But I think especially on his nieces and nephews. He was the "cool" uncle. He was funny, kind, quirky and patient. I'm sure he always knew I pinched his strawberries and sweet peas when out the back garden. But he never batted an eyelid. His shed was like Narnia and I can still smell the sawdust. I'll never eat sweet peas without fondly remembering him. God speed Uncle Jack xx

I truly have the most fondest of memories of my dear uncle Jack, I will always remember his kind, funny and extremely quirky persona, he was truly an integral part of my childhood that I have carried through my life and will never forget, I was lucky to have had him positively impact my childhood and have cherished memories.

Uncle Jack was so funny. He mad me laugh everytime we were able to visit in Ireland. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear of Jack's death. He was a very sweet, special man. My sister Lynn and I lived with him and my granny for a while when my mother and father (his brother Billy, who passed last September) moved us back from the US to Ireland in the 60s. He made that difficult time in my life bearable with his warm heart and silly jokes. I don't know how I would have survived without him. I will miss him very much, but I'm glad he won't be suffering any longer. Condolences to my cousins, Simon and Sean, in this sad time, to his remaining siblings and his extended family and friends. Hopefully we can all get together as soon as circumstances allow.
