What a lovely and moving mass for uncle Jack, he would have been so proud and moved by the mass and the loving words and credit to his caring sons, John, Graham, Gary, Darren, Wayne and their Families, god bless you all.

John, Graham, Gary, Darren and Wayne, I am saddened to hear of your Dad’s passing. Jack and Rita were such a lovely couple and great friends and neighbours to my parents in Myrtle Grove. Such lovely days from the late 50’s onwards as the 2 families grew and the Mum’s supported each other, while we drove them crazy!
I last met Jack at my own Mum’s funeral and was delighted to see him the same, lively, funny and always a gentleman. You have my sincere condolences, as I now live in Connemara and can’t be at the funeral this morning, I’ll be there in thought and watch online.

My condolences to all Jack's family. I knew Jack through his brother Tom, to whom he gave great care. We still met regularly after Tom's death. I remember well his sense of humour and wise counsel whenever I was in Dublin. Rest in Peace, Jack.

Very sorry to hear about your dad passing away Gary and Family, he was a lovely man.

Uncle Jack had a larger than life persona about him, albeit in the most humble of ways. There are so many fond memories I have of his visits to Canada, and most involve him laughing, singing, deep in conversation, or enjoying the beauty of nature to its fullest. I am immensely grateful for those memories and the countless stories I have heard about him from my Nana Dolores, his youngest sister, who always held her big brother in the highest regard.

My deepest sympathies to all who are impacted by his passing, there are never the proper words to capture such a loss. He leaves quite the legacy, but I am so sorry he is gone… Sending hugs from Canada.
