John (Jack) Nolan

Auntie Liz only heard of Uncle Jack’s passing today. Very fond memories with Granny & Pop and Mam & Dad and the Collins to Silver Strand in the Summer and Kilkenny to visit Billy all those years ago. Our sincere condolences and sympathies to you all during these difficult times.

Sooo sorry to hear of the death of mr nolan . He was a gentleman and will be sadly missed by the staff of Meals on wheels .

So sorry to here of the passing of Jack. The funeral yesterday was a beautiful tribute.
I worked with Jack from 97 to his retirement in 99. A short enough time but long enough to get to enjoy his chat and banter. He was from a generation of folk who knew what hard work really was where the laugh and the chat got you through from day to day. A world full of personality and characters.
Jack was one of those characters and he rubbed off on us younger lads in the job. In a way there is a bit of Jack in me and the other young lads in the job.
I guess you would call him a legand.
It was a pleasure to have known him.
