To Anne, Pat, Emma, Laura - also Joe, Fionnuala & boys - it's with sadness I write this note. Jack was a wonderful Dad to Anne & Joe & also a super Grandad to Emma & Laura as well as the four boys. Emma & Laura shared many a lovely story with me recently. I too have great memories of Jack while visiting him in Ballinteer & also in Donegal many years ago. He was a pure gentleman, loved his many interesting & fun stories. Treasure all the beautiful memories of Jack - it will help during this sad time. X

We first met Jack when on holiday in Nerja along whis family Anne, Pat Emma and Laura. Jack was a gentle, polite and kind man. He loved his early morning walks and spending time with his grandchildren. Our sincere condolences to a wonderful family who have remained friends for such a long time.

Dear Joe, Anne and families, please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I know how important your dad was to you all.
I will always have fond memories of Uncle Jack from my childhood days and beyond and was so glad to see he’d still retained his quick wit and great sense of humour when I visited him in Ireland, to celebrate his 90th birthday!
I do hope you can take some comfort in celebrating the life he lived and the legacy he leaves behind.
