A gentleman who i knew since from a very early age. Had some great summers in kilkee with John joe. Sadly missed by everyone who knew him. A very welcoming person to anyone who called to him.

I would always look forward to visiting John Joe & Jo as a child and have very fond memories of them both. If ever the word gentleman was suitable for someone, it was for John Joe Lynch. A kind-hearted man who was so loved by his adoring wife, Jo. Their friendship was so cherished by my father and mother, Jim and Jean. I hope they are all having a good catch-up in heaven. May they rest in peace.

We are very sad and upset to hear the sad news of John Joe's passing. He was a very good friend and neighbour to all the Hanrahan family and he always made us very welcome when we returned to Kilkee with his lovely coffee and telling us his funny jokes. Him and Jo were an amazing couple and we hope they we will be reunited. Lisdeen will never be the same again. We will never forget you, our lovely friends.
