Despite several accidents and health issues life threw at him, he took them all in his stride without complaining and got on with his work. My mom Kathleen Lyons was a cousin to John Joe. I first met John Joe three years ago when we came to bury my mother. John Joe was happy to meet his cousin’s child and family. He had many stories to share of my mom and him growing up together. He and his wife Ursula were so kind and welcoming to us. They welcomed our family into their home and made a wonderful day of it. John Joe had numerous stories to share with us. You know you are in the presence of someone special when they leave a lasting impression upon you, that is how we feel about John Joe. We will be forever grateful that we got to meet such a kind and wonderful man. Our deepest sympathies to Ursula and the Kingston family.
