John Joe was one of the old style drapery men. Buy a shirt and ask him to pick a tie, he would do it in a flash and it would be a perfect match.
He was a great musician and singer with The Barley Cove Ballad group.
More important than any of that, he was a thorough gentleman. He will be greatly missed.

worked as a team in the Stardust ballroom, Grand parade, Back then. We helped Raise money for St.Vincents club ,doing Bingo" Calling etc, on Monday nights with huge crowds in Attendance..
He was a very kind Gentleman and helpful during that period..May John joe R.I.P..
