May John Joe rest in peace. I will miss him at the weekly sing songs in Brookvale House. John Joe was great. He kept me on my toes and had me learning songs. I have a much better repertoire now, thanks to John Joe. It won’t be the same without John Joe, my good friend.

We are very sad to hear about John Joe. He was a lovely man and it was a great pleasure to know him He will be greatly missed for his good company and sense of humour. A sincere and humble gentleman.

I’m so sorry to hear this sad news John joe has been coming to the Hillgrove hotel for so long he was such a lovely guy and will be missed by all of us Rip ❤️

Happy memories of growing up and coming on holiday to Ireland to stay with our grandparents. We always visited Aunt Julia, Peggy , John Joe, Jim and Sheila.Always a huge welcome and a big hug from John Joe. We never went home without him singing us a few of his favourite songs.
