Heartfelt sympathies and condolences to all of the Tolan family on the loss of John. John Joe was a charachter and a good support to me when we played twice together as fellow Pioneers in the All-Ireland Pioneer Badminton Doubles Championship at Charlestown in 2007, I later played with him at Connaught level in 2009 in Crossmolina itself. The world will be a lesser place without John Joe. Lord protect and rest his soul gently.
