Sincere condolences to the Flahive families in America and at home on the sad passing of your beloved Johnny. Johnny- a great Bally man. Every time we met, he loved talking about long ago and about Bally. In 1958 my parents built their house in Main Street, Bally and Johnny was their right hand man. They had many good stories about that time.
I remember Johnny playing football for Ballyline in the Parish League- lovely memories.

Condolences to all Johnny's family in USA, Ireland and Australia. Thinking especially of his wife Pat, daughter Mary and son Brendan. I have very fond memories of Johnny. He was so good with children and even remembered me when he went to USA. He always visited us on his many return trips to Ireland. He was a great talker and kept in touch by phone too. He kept up to date on happenings in Ballylongford and loved talking about old times. I am saddened another special friend has now passed on. Rest in Peace Johnny.
