John (Johnny) KEOGH

I have just seen the notice of John's passing, I'm very shocked to see this. I knew him when we worked in Westmoreland St. John was a lovely kind man, always had time for a word. Kept the bright side out. My sincere sympathies to his daughter Aine and his parents and extended family and friends who miss him very much. Rest in Peace John.

I was truly saddened today to hear of the passing of John. I met him many times in Fitz’s Sandycove and he always had a big welcoming smile and loved the chat. He often spoke about his dear mum and Galway connections. He loved his regular trips to Galway City. John was a very kind, warm, friendly person and a true gent.

Very sad to hear of John's passing. I have many fond memories of nights out with John and the gang in the 80s. I first met John 45 years ago when I started working in EBS. John was a true gentleman and a wonderful colleague and friend. He was also very funny and was the heart and soul of many a night out - especially in the 80s.

I soon discovered another link when Philip and I met - it turned out we both knew John - Philip from the publicans of Dublin and John's familys' history in the trade. John was held in high esteem by many and rightly so.

David, we are truly sorry for your loss and pain and our heartfelt condolences go out to his daughter Aine, and the whole Keogh family, and those who were so fond of him.
