Very saddened to hear that Johnny has passed away. He and I went to primary school together in Kilbarrack a lifetime ago and I'll always remember his great sense of humour. I recall many a happy afternoon spent fishing with the Murray boys and their dad. Sincere condolences to all the family.

Very sad to hear of Johnny’s sudden passing. Deepest condolence to all of his family at this sad time. I got to no Johnny when he worked in the butchers in Howth. He was a great character if you went into the butchers feeling a bit down you would come out laughing after been cheered up by Johnny’s stories. He will light up heaven too.
