With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to John. Sympathies and Condolences to Mary, Kieran, Sean, Noel, Donal, Brian and the wider family. Our thoughts are very much with you all during this difficult time. He will be much missed. I recall many fond memories of my interactions with John. He was kind, warm, friendly and went out of his way to make me and my family feel immediately at home whenever we visited Cork. He always ensured that we were looked after and knew where to get the best stouts in Cork. I know I used to worry about how Sureka will be with her future in-laws but I needn’t have worried! John was like a father to her and made us all feel very much part of the family. He truly was a wonderful person and we are grateful for the love and memories he shared with us. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. Rest in peace.
