My Sympathy to Jackie family and friends. I have fond memories of his relaxed and student respectful teaching style in the 70's and trips to the meadows of Ballinamore identifying the flora and his interesting introduction to other subject related content . Meeting him in years after, he recognised and acknowledged you as a past pupil. Really sorry for Jackies passing.

If the word gentleman ever described anyone it was Jackie he was one of the most decent people I have ever met. To all the Gallagher family I send my deepest sympathy May Jackie rest in peace
