Sympathies to O’Driscoll family for Uncle John’s passing. It was always a pleasure to meet John and Aunt Margaret and were especially happy to see him at my mothers funeral and see him meet up with Aunt Una and Uncle Paddy.

I have wonderfully fond memories of Uncle John and Aunt Margaret’s many visits to Drinagh. What an entertaining and charismatic couple they made. And how my parents loved you.

Uncle John’s was a life well lived. He was such a character - loved by everyone, young and old. He had a certain uplifting energy. He was funny, charming, and very witty - but he was also sensitive, kind, encouraging and sincerely interested in the welfare of others. And he was tremendously proud of and dedicated to his lovely family.

You will be deeply missed, Uncle John. Rest In Peace.
