I have just been notified of Johns passing. I am so sad and wish to offer my sincere sympathy to Johns family.
He was so hospitable and kind to me always, as a client of The Vienna Woods.

We wish to send our sincere condolences to you all. We worked with John doing events in Vienna Woods and he was always an absolute pleasure to work with. A true gentleman.

I knew John from visiting Vienna Woods with my tour groups. He was a wonderful Tower of a Man full of welcome and attention and great good humour. I cannot believe he has left us, but Heaven is now a better place. My heartfelt sympathies to all of John's family and friends and all of his wonderful colleagues in Vienna Woods. May he rest in peace.

My sincerest condolences to all John's family on his intimately passing. I had the absolute pleasure of playing rugby with John in CBC, culminating in the fond memory of winning the Barry Cup with him in 2006. As captain of the team for most of that year, I can tell you that John genuinely didn't miss one single training session all year and I know it was something he was very proud of.

We were all truly blessed to have known John, even for the short time he was with us. Anytime his name was mentioned in conversation, there was a collective agreement amongst everyone that he was one of the single nicest men that ever graced this earth. He wore his heart on his sleeve, gave it everything on the rugby field and he simply couldn't do enough to help those around him. The world is a duller place without John on it. May we meet again old friend. Certa bonum certamen!
