RIP Uncle John, you were a true gentleman, funny and caring. I will always remember going to your house and the gorgeous food Aunt Dolores would put on for us. I will never forget how Uncle John looked out for my mam, his sister Louise, when our dad passed away and for that I will be always grateful xx
I was so sad to hear about Johnny’s passing and my deepest sympathies to all of Johnny’s family. Johnny was kindness personified, always with a quick smile and laugh just when you needed it. It was an honour to work alongside him for many years at the college and he has left us with so many happy memories. He will be so missed! RIP Johnny.
I'm a friend of Denise's and a couple of years ago, John sent me some of his poetry to read. I was reading it again this week, and the lines in his poem The Children really resonates today: 'The room is quiet, my mind can sail/The clock, it ticks the time away".
So sorry to hear this you will be greatly missed RIP John

Our deepest sympathy to Dolores and all the family. John was a true friend and neighbour for close to sixty years. He was an Oakwood community man right from the start and was deeply involved and worked tirelessly on every positive initiative in the Oakwood and surrounding areas throughout the years. In later years, when the residents' association had run its course, John set up the cards and snooker clubs to keep us in touch with each other. He also started the environment group to maintain and benefit our area. He loved to tell jokes, sing and write poetry and always had a Sinatra song at the ready. John's contribution to the Oakwood community has been immense. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his many friends and neighbours.
My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Judge & all the Judge family on the sad passing of their lovely dad. May he Rest in Peace.

So sorry to hear of the passing of John...he was a lovely man and always in good spirits. I knew him from the Glenhill music group on Friday nights. John would recite his poems, with great expression, and even wrote a poem about the group. He will be missed greatly and remembered fondly by the group.

There are times when sadness is eclipsed by happy memories, none more than in the passing of my great friend John judge.
Saturday morning in Finglas Village John on one side of the road myself on the other, picking up litter and exchanging jokes as we worked.
The fact that he told my jokes in the Willows pub later in the day is forgiven.
John was a very talented poet,
Storyteller and carpenter, but above all else a true gentleman.
His work in the community of Finglas is legendary, and his work in his home area of Sycamore/oakwood a wonderful legacy he leaves behind.
To his beloved wife Dolores, his treasured family, extended family and numerous friends, I extend my deepest sympathies
Rest in peace my friend.
