It was with great sadness that I heard of John's passing. It was only recent that I was reminiscing on the 1975 under 16 All ireland winning hurling team and John being the captain. I was totally shocked to hear this devastating news that John had died. He was such a lovely caring person. He had a great sense of humour . He also loved his banking career. Deepest sympathy to his wife Jackie and their family. I’m sure he will be greatly missed by all of them. RIP John .
