Dearest John, I will miss our chats and your words of encouragement and help over the past while. We can only remember the good times we had and all the slagging matches we had in TOD and over the phone. A true gent and friend. You deserve and will be remembered by all your friends and colleagues from ESB. Condolences to Marie & Family. Love Ger.

John, you were an absolute Gent, Friend, and Mentor not only to me, but to a lot of people. I sit here remembering the slagging we gave each other, the serious chats and the terms of endearment we had for one another, the golf we played. I can honestly say I have never heard anyone say a bad word about you, only good. I will miss you greatly, So long mate we'll meet again.
John, I can't believe you've left us. Thank you so much for being such a smashing boss/colleague/friend. So sorry I missed our arranged meeting some months ago. Until we meet again, farewell old friend.
