I was very sorry to learn of John’s untimely death. Sincere sympathy to John’s mother and brothers and to the wider family on your huge loss.
John & I were friends in college in Waterford in the late 80s and met up from time to time over the years. We met in February of this year and had a great catch up. Gone much too soon. Rest in peace John.

My condolences to John's family. I will miss him greatly, on our work calls John was always first to speak and give honest opinions with his famous wit. He would help anyone where he could and was dedicated to the job. He often shared stories of long gone ESB colleagues and his father's life in the old ESB, he was proud of all gone before him and his own contribution was immense that will leave a lasting legacy. He was a friend and colleague that we should have more time with, we never got a chance to say goodbye. Farewell John, rest in peace.
