John Kelly - you were a great character and we shared so many memories of life in Maynooth and the West of Ireland back in the 70s and 80s! We are privileged to look back on more than 40 years of friendship and would have loved to meet more often in later years.
The news of your death has deeply saddened us as well as our children.
We wish Joni, Marc, Grainne, Eoghan, Margret and their extended families the strength to go go through this difficult time.
Thank you for your friendship, your very special humour and your company when we needed it!

We are so sad to hear of the passing of our dear friend John. A funny, genuine and witty gentleman. Many happy hours spent together on a high stool in the Grainne Uaile swapping stories and telling "good wans". John will be so missed but dearly remembered by all of us. So so sorry to learn of Johns passing. We were so fond of John. He was a man of great humour and who dearly loved Joni and was so fondly regarded in Skerries and where he worked way back when in Fannins Dublin. May you rest in peace.
