John Kieran Ahearne

All Kieran's in-laws in Scotland will remember him very fondly from his visits here, his and Theo's wedding from my house which was a wonderful happy day and our visits to Galway. Very much missed by us all .

Condolences to the ahearne family on the passing of Kieran I only found out today he was a pure gentleman when I’d meet me in o Connells he would say pull up a stool their and he would tell me about the stories in the army and how he would know my dad & I hadn’t seen him in ages only by chance just before I went on holidays he will be greatly missed rip Kieran Mike McNair

Sincere condolences from us all in O’Connell’s Bar. Our working days were made lighter by Kieran’s presence. Always a warm greeting, wonderful smile and a wink when pretending not to be listening to others goings ons. Refusing table service as he “needed the exercise 😉”, giving the wave as he went for the bus, never without the shopping! We were so lucky to have considered him more than a customer and we were so happy to have seen our good friend again so recently. Thank you Claire 🙏
