We will always remember John, first of all as a dear friend but also as a beautiful gentle man, considerate and caring and always ready to help others. It was as if he wanted to leave behind him the harsh world which he himself had experienced as a boy growing up without a family. It was wonderful that with the help of his wonderful wife, Treasa and his lovely daughters and sons, John got to tell his story to the world, BOY ii963, and leave behind an inspiring monument to resiience, bravery and love.

Sincere condolences to Treasa, Aileen, Fiona, Niamh, Shane & Brian and the extended Cameron family on the passing of John. I'm fortunate to have lots of memories of John from happy times spent up Foxes lane in Kilternan. Silk Cut Ultra, ends of pencils behind the ears, reheated dinners, duck eggs.....not to mention all the one liners he gave me that I still use. It would have been some craic if I had him as a teacher in school, and most days I wished I did !!! He was able to hold everyone's interest no matter if you were young or old and everybody enjoyed his company. He was a great friend to my family, a good sounding board and source of advice over the years. Rest in peace John, it was a pleasure.
