It was with great sadness that we heard of John's passing now the 25 June, John cared for our father during his last months of his cancer and right up to the end , John was a gentle soul and fondly remembered as Scottish John my the family, our deepest sympathy to John's wife and children and hope you get strength from all the people who were touched by your father's kindness may he rest in peace 🕊️

Dear Aisling and Lafferty Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I have been praying since November. I am crying with you...I know that the Lord will draw close to you as He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Together, we look forward to the day when there will be no more tears and you will be reunited with great joy in Heaven.

Your dad/John was always so generous with his time and energy even while going through his fight with cancer. I got to know him through the pastoral assembly and through conversations after daily Mass. I know he is so proud of all of you, loves each of you deeply, and would have done anything to stay with you longer.

I am sure he will be sending blessings your way and will be looking out for you from Heaven. I am praying for the repose of his soul and for all of you.
