Uncle John who was a great godfather to me and like a rock to my mam especially when she was fighting her illness at the time she is lost for words that you are gone. I will also remember when he used to bring me shopping and I would always ask if he needed help carrying the bags and he would always say no to me, even when he used to pick me up from primary school he would never let me carry my school bags on the way home. I will also always hold the memories in my 💔 heart of the shopping trips we used to go on my birthdays. Uncle John you always had a smile and would always crack a joke to make Mam laugh with you.I will always remember him. R.I.P Uncle John.

I express my prayerful condolences to all John's family from all of us in St. Agnes Parish Community, the Sacristy and Parish Office staff, all groups who used our Centre and all who encountered John every day. All of us are grieving for John who endeared himself to us and to countless others by his lovely presence. He was a most diligent and wonderful caretaker who often went beyond the call of duty. His willingness to do whatever he could was inspiring. Nothing was ever too much for him. He took great pride in his work and always ensured the church grounds were immaculately tidy and presentable. John was a truly valued member of our Parish staff: we will miss him deeply. We know how special he was to all of you, his family, so be assured of our prayers for you all at this time.
