I was really sad to hear about the passing of John, I walk the Ring in Sandycove every day I can and it’s always been a pleasure to meet John we would always exchange a smile and a hello and talk about how beautiful the views were and how lucky we were to see and appreciate them .I’d always feel good as I walked on after our chat. He was such a lovely man & was such a wonderful teacher to me in 6th class in Bandonbridge & to my sons years later. I always kept up contact & friendship with him since I left school. He was always great for a chat whenever I met him in Kinsale or out walking around Sandycove. I will miss him very much & am so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.
