My sincerest sympathies to Emma, Dylan Alice and Emily. Jack was a special uncle for me with a wit and humour I fondly remember. I remember as a child, if ever there was something broken or not working, Jack would be called in to fix it… and he did! As a young child, that was amazing to me, and spurred me on towards engineering (and DIY!). In later years my Dad and Jack became very close and when Daddy had limited mobility, Jack would drive up to him and take him out for a pint or two and, I’m sure, talk for hours about horse racing. That meant the world to Daddy. He will be sorely missed by us all.
